"Not gonna lie, I tried using vault…"
Not gonna lie, I tried using vault for job searching and it really didn’t do much for me. A lot of the listings felt outdated or like they were already filled, and I kept getting bounced around to other sites instead of actually making progress. The company info was decent, but when it came to applying or finding solid leads, it felt weak. The search filters didn’t work that well for me either. After a couple weeks, I gave up and went back to other job boards. Just didn’t feel worth the time

I was trying to look something up on the site while having my coffee before work, and it got frustrating quickly. The menus felt kind of scattered, and I kept clicking around in circles just to find basic information. Maybe I missed something obvious, but after a few minutes I got annoyed and gave up.

"Support Shouldn’t Be This Hard"
I had a frustrating experience trying to get help from Vault.com. I sent a message and waited several days without getting any real answer, which made it feel like nobody was actually checking or following up. When they finally did respond, it didn’t solve the issue, and I ended up having to explain the same problem all over again. At that point, it’s just common sense that customer support should save time, not make things more complicated. I don’t see myself using it again.

I was hoping the internship info would be a bit more thorough, especially since I was trying to make a informed decision before applying. Maybe I expected too much, but it felt kind of thin and a little outdated in places. I don’t think it was useless or anything, I just wanted more practical details that would actually help me understand what the internship is like

"Felt More Like Inbox Clutter Than Job Help"
I signed up for vault.com thinking it would send me useful job-related info that matched what I was actually looking for. But after a while, the emails started to feel random to me, like they weren’t really based on my interests or goals. I kept opening them hoping I’d find something helpful, but most of the time there wasn’t much there that felt relevant. I’m sure it might be useful for some people depending on what they’re searching for, but in my case it just ended up being extra inbox clutter

"Helpful, but hit or miss"
I’ve found some of the guides on Vault.com useful, especially when I’m just trying to get a quick starting point. That said, a few of them feel kind of outdated or a bit too light on details, so I’m not always sure how much I can rely on them. It’s decent overall, but I usually end up needing to double-check things elsewhere.

"Salary numbers felt way off"
I looked at the salary info and thought, wait… that can’t be right. The numbers didn’t match what I’ve seen or experienced at all, so I couldn’t really trust it. Disappointing.

"Didn’t really give me anything I could use"
I tried using Vault.com because I was looking for career advice that would actually help me figure out my next move, but it felt basic to me. A few of the articles were fine, but I kept thinking I could probably find the same kind of info for free somewhere else. The site itself is easy enough to get around, so that wasn’t really my issue. It’s just that the advice didn’t feel updated or specific enough for what I needed. Maybe it’s better for students or people just starting out, but for where I’m at, it was kind of disappointing

"Not super helpful for my resume"
I tried using vault for some resume help, it wasn’t all that useful for me. A few of the tips were fine, but a lot of it felt kind of outdated or just really basic — the kind of advice you see everywhere already. The examples didn’t really fit my field either, so I ended up having to rewrite most of it on my own. It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t say it was worth much for what I needed.

"Fees could’ve been clearer"
The fees weren’t really explained that clearly upfront, so I was a bit surprised later on. Annoying. I just wish everything had been laid out more plainly from the start.

I had a feeling early on that this wasn’t going to be super helpful, and that turned out to be right. A few of the tips were fine, but most of it felt outdated and kind of surface-level. I was hoping for something more practical for actual interviews

"Didn’t feel right about the privacy side"
I signed up and was curious to try it, but quickly I started feeling uneasy about how much personal info they were asking for. The privacy details didn’t really clear things up for me, and I couldn’t tell who might be able to see my data or how long they’d keep it. Maybe I’m just cautious, but I hate the feeling that I might be getting fooled into handing over more than I should. In the end, I deleted my account because I just didn’t trust it enough...

"Useful, but the search takes some patience"
I actually do think vault is useful, so I don’t want this to come off like I’m trashing it. When the search pulls up the right stuff, it’s genuinely helpful. That said, the filters can feel a little inconsistent, and I had to mess around with a few different search terms before I got what I needed. It’s not a bad tool at all, it just feels like the search experience could be a bit smoother.

"Refund Took Way Too Long"
I ended up cancelling and asking for a refund, but getting a clear answer was such a hassle. I felt like I was stuck waiting in a queue forever before anyone actually helped. I did get the refund in the end, but the whole process was slow, annoying, and frustrating

"Campus access just didn’t work for me"
My school made it sound like we had full access to vault, so I assumed it would be straightforward. Instead, I kept getting bounced between login pages and random error messages. I tried using my campus email and went through the library link too, but nothing worked. Support took a while to respond, from their tone, it kind of felt like they assumed I was doing something wrong rather than actually helping me troubleshoot. Maybe it works fine for other students, but for me it was mostly frustrating and ended up feeling like a waste of time

"Could Use Fresher Updates"
Bottom line, I just wish the updates felt a bit fresher. I like the idea overall, but after using it for a while, it feels like things haven’t changed much or improved in a noticeable way. A few more current features or regular refreshes would make the experience a lot better.

"Decent for a quick glance, but I wanted a lot more"
I used Vault to compare a few companies, it felt a little frustrating. The employer profiles were thin, like I had to dig around and practically beg the site for useful details that just weren’t there. Some pages had basic info and a few outdated-looking sections, but there wasn’t much on teams, culture, interviews, or what it’s actually like to work there. It’s fine if you just want a quick overview, but if you’re trying to make a real decision, it left me feeling kind of resentful that I wasted the time expecting more.

"Frustrating Login Issues and Confusing Support"
I keep getting mixed signals with this app. Sometimes it acts like my login should work, then it just fails anyway. I reached out to support hoping they’d clear it up, but they didn’t really give me anything useful. It’s frustrating because I just want to get into my account without going in circles.
